Why Work With Alberta Car Guys?

Jan 1, 2021

Buying a car today generally looks the same as it did 50 years ago. Obviously, there’s different technology, different prices, and so on, but while we’ve literally re-engineered society with things like social media, Amazon, Über, Airbnb…

We wonder if the old model of buying a car will even exist in 5-10 years.

More on that in a bit…

First, I’ll cover the two common ways people find financing for a vehicle – new or used.

  1. Through a dealership
  2. Online form

I’m going to explain the process you can expect; first with a dealership, then with your online form. Then, when you see the model we use at Alberta Car Guys, you’ll understand why the ‘old’ way of doing things may be extinct pretty soon.

1.Through a dealership

Dealerships are either big or small. If they’re big, you’re going to be worked over hard by their salesman, because they spend upwards of $100,000 (sometimes more) on marketing every month – just to get you through their door.

They literally need you more than you need them.

If they’re a small dealership, because of the economy, they are facing harder times now more than ever, and literally need to charge you top dollar, otherwise they’ll be forced to close.

Again, they need you more than you need them.

All these dealerships are using that old model of car sales:

  • Talk to the salesman
  • Take a test drive
  • Talk to the salesman again
  • Get introduced to the Sales Manager
  • Negotiate a price
  • Salesman talks to the finance manager
  • Salesman comes back and says he has to talk to the Sales Manager again
  • Then you talk to the finance manager
  • Then you’re presented up-sells like extended warrantees, upholstery protection, and so on
  • Then you wait

And when you finally get keys, it’s taken up most of your day, or possibly two days.

But now, let’s talk about the second model that is common today:

2. The Online Form

You see an ad online, either in Google, or maybe in Facebook, and it captures your attention because ‘Everyone gets approved’. (they all say that by the way, it’s no longer that special of an offer)

So you put your information in the form: Name, Phone Number, Email, and so on.

Here’s what happens behind the scene.

Those forms are managed by what’s called a Lead Generation Company.

Lead Generators don’t care who you are, what your story is, what your credit history is.

All they do is take your information and sell it to their customers.

The bad thing is, they will sell your information to more than one customer. You could potentially get calls from two or three companies, because they’ve sold your information to that many people, who are all competing for your business.

Then, if you end up talking to someone, it’s a salesman, and you’re back to going through a dealership.

What a headache!!

Now, I told you that this model is going extinct and may not be around very much longer.

Here’s why we say that.

The process we’ve adopted accomplishes three main things.

  1. Your information isn’t sold to anyone.
  2. You have virtually an unlimited inventory to pick from
  3. You only deal with one person from start to finish.
See, when you put your information on our site, no one else is going to see that information. Just us.

We can access any vehicle of your choosing, from anywhere. You tell us what you want, and we source it out.

Then, from the time you start working with us, to the time you pick up your keys (or even have the car delivered right to you), you’re dealing with one person who is the sales, finance, and general manager.

Now, do you see how the old model of purchasing vehicles could potentially be obsolete?

Pretty exciting, isn’t it?

If this is something you’d love to be a part of, when you’re ready – go to this page here and apply!

Maybe you’re not ready yet, but you know of someone who has been talking about getting a vehicle. Well, share this valuable information and save them from all the hassle, time at a dealership, and possibly thousands of dollars!

They will thank you for it!
